"Anarat Boutique represents a unique model in showcasing the heritage identity of Saudi Arabia, especially amid the prevalence of modern glass-designed buildings," stated May Al-Musallam, the project founder who converted the century-old house into the heritage hotel. Through furniture and elaborate artistic details, the project showcases the beauty of heritage rather than modern architectural features. 

"Together with traditional materials from the past, the building was restored using basalt stone, which was the same material used in its original construction. To maintain its authenticity, very minor details were added. To guarantee the highest levels of durability and safety, a specialized team from Tech Design worked with consultants to lead the design and restoration process," she told in an interview.

"Despite being a daring and original idea, its success was anticipated because of the careful planning and strong belief in the concept. The project was carried out to the highest standards of quality with the assistance of the Madinah Municipality and cooperation from consulting firms."

She emphasized ongoing efforts to spread awareness of the boutique concept throughout the Kingdom and introduce tourists to the splendor of Saudi culture via historical structures and heritage.
